In the fast-moving realm of professional photography, it’s easy to forget the reasons we first picked up a camera. The excitement of capturing moments, the pleasure of discovering new perspectives, and the artistry involved can often be overshadowed by deadlines, client expectations, and the daily grind. However, there are times when we’re reminded of our initial passion for photography. My recent trip to Japan served as one of those reminders, and it was all thanks to my reliable companion, the Fujifilm X-S20.

As a wedding photographer, my camera feels like an extension of myself. Yet, amid the hustle of documenting others' special moments, I realized it had been far too long since I’d taken the opportunity to shoot for my own enjoyment.
